We’ll Always Have Paris – Jane is frustrated to learn that Safford’s health insurance policy won’t cover freezing her eggs. Sutton’s career hits a high in Paris, but when news reaches her she begins to wonder if she has sacrificed too much.
Trippin – Jane is overwhelmed by fertility planning; Kat starts to feel the distance between her and Adena; Sutton races to finalize her passport before Paris leading to a confrontation; and on the heels of the dotcom relaunch, the girls take a road trip.
Plan B – After an almost-pregnancy scare, Jane writes an article about motherhood and whether it’s in her near future. Kat is offered an opportunity to be a spokesperson and Sutton races to pull together a micro-budget photo shoot.
Betsy – Jane discovers that Sutton has been hiding a gun in the apartment, and the girls realize they have polar opposite views on the subject. Meanwhile, Adena shocks Kat with her latest suggestion.
The Domino Effect – Jane takes a freelance assignment that causes her to cross paths with Jacqueline; Kat has a sex dream; and Sutton sets out to give Richard’s new girlfriend a style makeover.
Stride of Pride – Kat sets out to hire someone for the social team, but is unhappy by the applicant pool’s lack of diversity. Jane, meanwhile, faces the financial realities of her freelance situation.
The Scarlet Letter – Sutton is in an awkward position when she is put in charge of hiring a photographer for an accessories shoot, and Kat asks her to hire Adena. Jane follows around a cute and altruistic doctor named Ben for her latest article. Scarlet’s newest board member, Cleo, causes Jacqueline to defend her role at the magazine.
Feminist Army – In the Season 2 premiere, Jane is excited to publish her first big piece for Incite, especially since she’s writing about a female CEO she admires, and she knows Jacqueline will be reading it. Sutton is thrown when a new corporate policy seems to give her and Richard the green light on their romance. And Adena grows frustrated when Kat seems too eager to flaunt their burgeoning relationship.
Rose Colored Glasses – Believing it shouldn’t matter, Kat bristles when Alex recommends she highlights that she is black in her company bio. However, while introducing her parents to Adena, Kat is forced to confront how her avoidance of labels has affected her life. Sutton is horrified when she discovers her fellow fashion assistants think she was asked to organize a photo shoot featuring “honorable men” for reasons other than her talent. And Jane tries to defend herself after the fallout from her Incite article.
Before Tequila Sunrise – Jane, Sutton, Alex, Pinstripe and Jacqueline are all trapped in the Scarlet offices due to a massive traffic jam. Meanwhile, Jane re-examines her feelings for Pinstripe; Sutton makes a surprising move; and Kat makes an impulsive decision when she learns Adena is leaving New York.
Three Girls in a Tub – Richard invites the ladies to his apartment for dinner in an effort to get closer to Sutton’s friends; Sutton attempts to network with a new social circle by attending a high tea; Jane comes to a realization about Pinstripe; and Jacqueline intervenes when Kat’s new staffer keeps damaging Scarlet’s social-media presence.
